The
Thermo Scientific Vacuum Oven is offered in three sizes for ultimate flexiblity.
It reaches a maximum temperature of 220°C (428°F) and provides two control
configurations and display options.
Product Detail
The Thermo Scientific Vacuum Oven is available in 0.44, 0.7 and 2.3 cu. ft. (12.5, 19.8 and 65 liters) chamber volumes. Operating temperature ranges from ambient +10°C to 220°C (428°F), making it ideal for a broad range of applications. The radiant warm wall heating system optimizes uniformity and conserves chamber space for drying, curing, vacuum embedding and plating applications.
Silicone door gasket and positive latch door maintain a seal at all vacuum levels.
Polycarbonate safety shield protects door glass.
Vacuum level is displayed on gauges from 0 to 30" Hg.
Vacuum and air lines are constructed with corrosion-resistant stainless steel tubing for optimum chamber cleanliness and long term performance.
Two removable stacking aluminum shelves are included.
Interior chamber is easy-to-clean #304 stainless steel
Exterior is constructed of powder coated heavy gauge steel for durablility.
Choice of Configurations
Types 3606, 3608 and 3618 feature a hydraulic thermostat to control temperature to ±1.5°C with a uniformity of ±5°C (@ 100°C; 25" Hg) and built-in over temperature protection.
Type 3618P features programmable microprocessor-based PID temperature control that regulates to within ±0.2°C with a uniformity of ± 2.4°C (@ 100°C; 25" Hg).
Fittings and Valves
Models 3606 and 3606-1 have top-mounted independent evacuation and venting vacuum fittings. All other models have a front-mounted three-way valve for evacuation, venting and purging of inert gases (e.g., Nitrogen or Argon) with vacuum fittings on the front of the unit.
Programmable microprocessor-based temperature control on Type 3618P runs at a single set point or uses a 24-step program of ramps and dwells. This oven features independent vacuum and purge needle valves.
Models 3618P and 3618P-1 have 0.25 compression fittings on the left side and require 0.25 O.D. copper or stainless steel tubing.
