Thermo Scientific Water-Jacketed Automatic CO2 Incubator
The
Thermo Scientific Water-Jacketed Automatic CO2 Incubator, available
in TC and IR models, holds temperature longer than an air-jacketed style
incubator should a power failure occur. The exclusive SMARTGAS®
system ensures accurate CO2 control. Security password protection of
set points avoids unintended changes.
Product Detail
The Thermo Scientific Water-Jacketed Automatic CO2 Incubator offers a choice of TC or IR sensor to meet your specific requirements. The IR sensor is ideal for changing temperature and humidity conditions. The TC sensor is for constant temperature and humidity applications.
Easy-to-read LED display scans between actual temperature and percent CO2 level.
Temperature-adjustable heated door keeps inner glass door free of condensation for improved culture viewing.
Chamber is corrosion-resistant polished stainless steel.
Dual chamber models include separate, independent control systems.
Built-in RS-232 port allows temperature and CO2 data transfer to a printer.
Five shelves and supports can be removed and reinstalled without tools for complete decontamination and easier cleaning. Chamber includes 12 shelf positions.
CO2 and Temperature Control
CO2 concentration is from 0-20% with ±0.1% control.
CO2 recovery time to 5% CO2 (98% of set value) after a 30 second door opening at 37°C is 7 minutes.
Microprocessor temperature control with ±0.1°C control, ±0.25°C uniformity:
TC sensor models: slightly above ambient to 60°C –IR sensor models: slightly above ambient to 55°C
Added Culture Protection
Audible and visual alarms indicate:
temperature deviations of ±1°C or more –CO2 concentration deviations of 1% or greater –incubator door has been open more than 5 minutes
Independent, hydraulic, high limit thermostat protects cultures in case of microprocessor system failure by limiting power to the heater if the internal temperature exceeds the set point.
Accessory HEPA filter (99.97% efficient at 0.5 microns) can be easily installed to ensure aseptic cell culture.
